Maison Mami started as an identity project for its founder, Michelle.

Through motherhood, a corporate career, life abroad, and all the individual experiences that come with being a person, she wanted a place to put her thoughts. Somewhere to ground them, explore them, and occasionally make sense of them.

In conversations with other like-minded women, she realized something: a lot of us are missing a space to simply be heard - or to listen.

A place for the out-of-the-ordinary and the outrageously ordinary. A place to say what you feel, question even the most basic of notions, or simply riff about your day. No deadline, implication, or expectation attached.

Maison Mami is a space for ideas, conversations, and the things that stay with us. An evolving idea about connection, identity, and the many versions of ourselves we move through in a lifetime.

Mami - mother.
Ami - friend.
Mi - self.
M - Michelle, the person who started it all.

And while this began with one person, it was never really meant to be about one person.

Maison Mami is for all the phases, identities, contradictions, and beautifully messy bits of life.

Expect ideas, themes, conversations, invitations to connect, and eventually, perhaps, a few gatherings along the way. All stemming from the mind of a millennial mother, luxury travel professional, longtime expat living in Argentina, and someone still figuring it all out - just like everyone else.
